2025 - 2026  Chapter Officers

Picture
Hey y'all! My name is Julissa Contreras, and I'm honored to serve as your Chapter President this year! After two amazing years on the officer team as Secretary, I'm excited to continue growing with this incredible team and leading our chapter through another unforgettable year. My SAE project focuses on raising sheep and goats, but you'll usually find me all around the farm. Outside of my blue jacket, I serve as your ASB President and as a LinkCrew Leader, where I get to support and connect with our school and its students. When I'm not busy with school or FFA, you will probably catch me listening to music or singing my heart out. Let's make this year great, GO COYOTES!

Hi everyone!!! My name is Melody Salisbury, and I'm so grateful to serve as your 2025-2026 Chapter FFA Secretary. I'm looking forward to working with our chapter and getting even more involved in FFA as an officer. I'm currently entering sophomore year, and since my freshman year, I've participated in every public speaking competition available. I was part of the Opening and Closing novice team, serving as Vice President and earning the Outstanding Vice President award. I've also competed in the Creed Speaking contest, the BIG (Best Informed Greenhand) team, and have been active in my SAE project with pigs. Outside of FFA, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and being outdoors away from electronics and spending quality time with the people I love, like my friends and family. FFA has truly encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and become more involved but not only in the program but also in school life. I've loved participating in contests and working with animals. I'd say these experiences have helped shape who I am today. I believe it's so important for our chapter to lift each other up and inspire one another to get involved. Every day is a new opportunity to grow and improve together. Getting more involved helps you connect with others, form lifelong friendships, and opens doors to opportunities you may never have expected.

Hey guys, I'm Christopher Galvez, and I'm serving as your 25-26 chapter reporter. I am currently a junior and have been involved in FFA since my freshman year. Some of the classes I have taken over the year are Sustainable Agriculture Biology, Soil Chemistry, and this year I will take advanced Agriculture. My SAE project is Ag Coms Small Animals, and this year I want to be in the lamb project I had competed in impromptu, and have taken two animals to the OC fair. Outside of FFA, I have been a part of the yearbook program for two years and am currently the publicist and help with the media team. I also run my own personal photography account. I am also a soccer team manager and help manage the team. I love to hang out with my friends and family and play games, and in my free time | like to do photography on my own. I can't wait to see what I can bring to this program and make so many memories with you guys.

Hey guys! I'm Martita Aguilar, your 2025-2026 Chapter Vice-President, and I'm excited to connect with you all this year! My goal is to make this a memorable year for our chapter. As a junior, I've been involved in FFA since 7th grade, previously serving as my middle school chapter secretary. In high school, I've participated in opening and closing ceremonies and achieved high individual secretary as a freshman. My SAE project is floral, and I'm working towards my certification. This year, I also showed rabbits at the OC Fair and served as our chapter delegate at state conference this past year. Outside of my jacket, I'm on the Varsity Flag Football team and enjoy playing soccer and track. I value family time, especially traveling and night drives with my cousins and sister. What I love about Agriculture/FFA is its hands-on nature and the way it encourages personal growth. I'm looking forward to a great year together!"
